Metric signature

Metric signature expresses the local metric distortion introducted into space by the local spatial partitioning against themetric pattern of the whole system. It is illustrated by the sequence of scattergrams plotting the mean metric distance values at increasing radii on the y-axis and mean metric distance values at radius-n on the x-axis.
